This is a Sha-awase kimono (紗袷), a rare type of summer kimono made of silk.

Even in Japan, very few people own such pieces, and the number of artisans who can make them is rapidly declining.

Measurements (taken flat):

• Length (from center back): approx. 160 cm
• Sleeve length: approx. 48.5 cm
• Shoulder width (yuki): approx. 68.5 cm
• Front panel width: approx. 23.5 cm
• Back panel width: approx. 29.5 cm
• Overlap panel (okumi): approx. 14.5 cm

Please note: all measurements are taken with the garment laid flat. Slight discrepancies may occur depending on how they are measured.
